Rena Gross & Sara Zick, Biopic: A Podcast Story
We’ll be focusing on the on-film portrayal of Truman Capote’s relationship with In Cold Blood subject Perry Smith, the theme of doubles and reflections, and what Hollywood got wrong and write about it, with particular focus on two rival Capote films that came out within a year of each other: 2005’s Capote and 2006’s Infamous. We’ll also talk about his friendship with Harper Lee, which eventually turned distant. If you ask nicely during the Q+A session, Rena will tell you the story of the time she met and chatted up Harper Lee in the emergency room line at New York Presbyterian.

About Sara
Sara is a PR person and Rena is her recently discovered porcelain doll from the 1910s. Sara was lonely so she took her doll to a magician who brought her to life, so naturally they started a podcast.*
