Sebastian Major is the creator and host of Our Fake History. He is a teacher, musician, and storyteller who is passionate about all things weird and wonderful from the past. Since launching the Our Fake History in 2015 the podcast has been recognized as the “Best Educational Podcast” at the 2018 Podcast Awards, and the show has been noted as one of Toronto’s “most addictive podcasts” by Toronto Life Magazine. The show has been nominated three years in a row for a Canadian Podcast award in the category of “Outstanding Educational Series.” Sebastian has been regularly featured on the CBC Radio shows Podcast Playlist and Out In The Open. He has also contributed as a panelist and performer at Toronto’s Hot Docs’ Podcast Festival. In his time as the host of Our Fake History, Sebastian has interviewed NY Times bestselling authors, internationally recognized academics, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted musicians.
