Speaker: Dustin Cranford & Meredith Vaughn

Current Schedule for Dustin Cranford & Meredith Vaughn

Advent of Computing

Dustin recently received a PhD in Ancient Mediterranean Studies from the University of Maryland at College Park. Although his research centers mainly on the political history of the Roman Republic, he is (obviously) very interested in the history of the Greek and Hellenistic worlds, as well as gender, legitimacy, and constitutional theory. He is also part of the editorial team for the online journal, Historifans. Meredith received her BA in History at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, focusing primarily on late medieval and early modern Europe, especially the history of women and gender in England’s Tudor period. She then received her MEd in Higher Education at Greensboro and is currently the Assistant Director of Academic Advising at the Kogod School of Business at American University. Though both hailing from North Carolina originally, Meredith and Dustin currently live in northern Virginia with their cat (and executive producer/research assistant), Jewel.
