Butter Substitutes: Work, Waste & War

Right now America is in a bit of a butter boom. We love butter. But not so long ago, Americans had decided butter was bad. And we came up with things that were better (maybe?) than butter. But before that, plenty of people loved butter – but it was too expensive, or (gasp) there wasn’t enough. So we came up with substitutes. What they were, when they happened & the reasons why are all going to be covered. And I will also share a shocking fourth W.
